Art and light exhibit at SLO Botanical Garden extended


The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden’s glittering art exhibits will be open to the public longer than expected.

The botanical garden has expanded Nature Nights, an after-hours event where guests can stroll through art and light exhibits, according to a news release from the organization.

The 8-acre exhibit opened on November 11th and was originally scheduled to end on January 8th.

The event was so well received that SLO Botanical Gardens decided to extend Nature Night until March 19, according to the event’s website.

The exhibit will feature artistic lighting and other artwork designed by Kody Cava, the news release said.

According to a news release, guests can purchase snacks, hot drinks, and local beer and wine in the garden of Paradise Kitchen.

SLO Botanical Garden Executive Director Chenda Lor said in a news release: “Most people looking for an uplifting experience to enlighten their weekend with friends and family can offer Friday through Sunday nights and we welcome them to the Nature Nights experience. “

According to My805Tix.com, the event runs every Thursday through Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm through January 8th.

Tickets are $24.75 for adults and $14.75 for children 12 and under. They are available at My805Tix.com.

According to the Nature Nights website, people can find the exhibit at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden in El Chorro Regional Park at 3450 Dairy Creek Road.
