Bray Wyatt Makes In-Ring Return At Madison Square Garden Live Event

In a surprise turn of events, Bray Wyatt made his long-awaited comeback to Square Circle at the WWE Live event at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.

According to PWInsider, Wyatt responded to an open challenge from Jinder Mahal, who expressed his disappointment at not being able to participate in Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship ladder match scheduled for later in the evening.

Wyatt came out “to the masses,” reportedly as New York City fans serenaded the former Universal Champion with “this is awesome” chants. In a short match, the two contestants fought a bit on the outside until Wyatt finished off Mahal in the ring with his sister Abigail.

Here are some highlights from Wyatt’s in-ring return.

This was Wyatt’s first taste of in-ring action since losing to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36.

Since returning to WWE at Extreme Rules in October, Wyatt has battled with himself, leading to clashes with Uncle Howdy and most recently LA Knight. On last Friday’s “WWE SmackDown,” Wyatt unexpectedly attacked a cameraman while dealing with his Uncle Howdy’s first face-to-face appearance on Dec. 16.
