Business burglary leads to drug arrests in Garden City


GARDEN CITY, Kansas (KSNW) – Several people were arrested after a robbery occurred at Summit ResCare at 2102 E. Spruce St, the Garden City Police Department said. The robbery occurred on Monday.

Around 1 a.m. Wednesday, police said two people had been arrested in connection with the robbery and booked on suspicion of stolen property.

Later in the day, police said they issued a search warrant at 1009 N. 11th Street, Apartment No. 2. Inside, multiple items from the business were recovered, suspected of being methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Two of his in the house were arrested and booked on suspicion of burglary, theft, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
