st. LOUIS – Dale Chihuly’s work will be showcased in a spectacular exhibition that combines art and nature at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Artists use color, light, transparency, and form to transform space. He revolutionized his glass studio and arranged international exhibitions and architectural projects.
“Chihuly in the Garden 2023” showcases these works on a grand scale, with thousands of blown glass shapes set in 18 spectacular installations on the grounds of the garden. Visitors can enjoy ‘Chihuly in the Garden 2023’ from May 2, 2023 to his October 15, 2023.
Chihuly uses glass, paint, charcoal, neon, ice, and polyvitro, and his work is in over 200 museum collections around the world. He started working at the botanical garden in his 2001, giving art fans and garden enthusiasts to see art in a new way.
“Chihuly in the Garden 2023” was hosted by the Missouri Botanical Garden. Chihuly’s art is displayed in areas that interact with its surroundings. “Chihuly in the Garden 2023” is a large-scale show based on the garden environment, using shapes and colors.
The gardens also host “Chihuly Nights,” giving visitors a rare opportunity to admire some of the finest works of art. People can stroll through the park listening to live music and enjoying different shows. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
Tickets for “Chihuly Nights” go on sale to Garden Members on March 1 and to the general public on March 15.
