WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) — The Garden City Police Department (GCPD) is seeking help from the public to find a suspect in a stabbing incident Saturday morning.
According to a GCPD news release, the stabbing occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of N. Taylor Plaza in Garden City. Police say the 39-year-old suspected Joel Chanez stabbed his 35-year-old victim during an altercation.
Shanez was last seen wearing a red plaid shirt with a black vest, blue jeans and cowboy boots. He is about 5 feet 8 inches, 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
