The Wellington Garden Club will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Wellington Community Center at 12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd.Presentation by Will Gurney, Landscape Superintendent of Wellington Village, begins at 10am
Gurney’s presentation, ‘Using Native Plants in Public Landscape’, highlights some of the landscape planting and work he has done to include native plants in Wellington’s public landscape. He also discusses the importance of adding canopy his tree whenever possible and the positive impact on the environment.
Gurney’s education, experience, and personal motivation enabled him to qualify as a village landscape manager. He has been successful in business management and project planning and has a strong background in turfgrass. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and Master Naturalist.

Established in 1981, the Wellington Garden Club aims to educate its members and the public in the fields of gardening, horticulture, floral design and landscape design, to promote conservation of natural resources, beautification of the public and youth education.
