As you walk through the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, you’ll be enveloped in light and sound, beautifully illuminated in its ‘lightscape’. There are over a million lights along a mile-long trail winding through his 52-acre oasis in Brooklyn.
Adrian Benepe, President and CEO of Garden, said:
Lightscape will return to show-stoppers such as popular photo spots Winter Cathedral and Fire Garden, along with new illumination artworks by local and international artists. Both returned from last year’s “Lightscape” debut in the garden, which Benepe said was a huge success.
There are food and drink outlets to warm everyone up, including hot chocolate and mulled wine. It’s all part of the experience, which lasts until January 8th.
