PARKERSBURG, Va. (WTAP) – Locals celebrated Police Appreciation Week this week.
Olive Garden took the lead by providing free lunches and dinners to local first responders.
Spaghetti, breadsticks, and salads were donated to all first responders looking for a quick, delicious meal.
Patrolman Brock Gardner talks about what it means to all first responders to be celebrated and recognized for their work within the community.
“Olive Garden provided lunch in support of Police Week. We definitely appreciate it when the community comes together and helps us out in that way. Definitely me They help us a lot,” Patrolman Brock Gardner said.
