Garden City/Finney County Crime Stoppers have increased payouts for homicides in 2019.
Ernie Ortiz was found shot outside his family’s restaurant and died of his injuries in a hospital. Authorities believe he was shot during a robbery after Ortiz finished business for the night. The suspect was not arrested.
Information that may lead to an arrest is eligible for a $21,500 bounty. Compensation has increased over the past three years.
