Splendor in the Garden charity event gives sneak peek at Carolina Herrera’s spring collection – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

Winter may only last a day or two here at 305, but at least you can enjoy spring fashion for longer. Speaking of spring fashion, Deco took a peek at her Spring 2023 collection for Carolina Herrera at the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens.

Philanthropy and fashion go hand in hand at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden’s Splendor in the Garden charity event.

Wes Gordon: “Splendor in the Garden is a fantastic annual event at the Fairchild Botanic Gardens and the proceeds benefit all the great work and programs they do here.”

This year, they wanted to do something big, so they teamed up with Carolina Herrera’s fashion director, Wes Gordon.

Wes Gordon: “This is the first time Neiman Marcus has partnered with a show designer in the 11 years it has hosted the event.”

Neiman’s showcased some of their favorite looks on the charity runway.

Wes Gordon: “Today we round up the highlights from the last two seasons of Carolina Herrera, from easy cotton daypieces to beautifully embellished evening gowns.”

They also brought in pieces that celebrities just can’t get enough of.

Wes Gordon: “J.Lo wore something these days. Adele wore something beautiful for her performance. Meghan Markle wears something often.”

Guests even got a special look at the Spring 2023 line.

Wes Gordon: “The theme was secret gardens. We relentlessly embraced flowers, beauty and color, mixing prints to create something of an homage to the untended garden.”

Make your garden the perfect backdrop to show off the hottest styles.

Wes Gordon: “You’ll see everything from great cotton tops to great skirts, separates, pants and, of course, the famous Herrera evening dress.”
