Boston – TD Bank, NA has retained its name in Boston’s iconic TD Garden for another 20 years.
The bank and Delaware North, which owns and operates the sports arena, recently announced a deal to extend naming rights to TD Bank’s venue through 2045, according to a news release. The original contract, signed in 2005, was set to expire in 2025.
In addition to extending the naming rights, TD Bank has renewed its status as the official bank of the Boston Bruins through 2045, the release said.
TD Bank also has programs such as providing free event tickets to candidates from underserved communities and commissioning projects in and around TD Gardens to local artists from underrepresented communities. will commit $15 million to community art programs under the new deal, the release said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Delaware-based TD Bank has just over 3% share of the Rhode Island deposit market and has 10 branches in Rhode Island, according to PBN’s 2023 list.
