(Colorado Springs) – Garden of the Gods Park hosts Theio Dinosaur Talk on Tuesday, December 20th.
Theio stands for Theophitalia KellyAccording to the park’s website, this dinosaur fossil was discovered in 1878 by Professor James H. Carr of the University of Colorado. “Teios is of Greek origin and means ‘Gods’, Phitalia means ‘garden’. Kelly The Garden of the Gods Park honors the name of the scientist who first discovered this 125-million-year-old skull. ”

The event will be held indoors in the Red Rocks Room on the 2nd floor. The Visitor and Nature Center is located at 1805 North 30th Street in Colorado Springs.
